Which county in Tennessee is next?!?!

Ever wonder where your mattress goes after you throw it away? 🧠💤

Inside that cushion is polyurethane foam—a material engineered to never melt down. If it ends up in a landfill, it stays there for centuries. But through specialized recycling, that single mattress gets a brand-new life! ♻️

Here is how the transformation works:

1️⃣ Dismantling: Mattresses are stripped down to separate steel coils, fabric, and foam layers.

2️⃣ Shredding & Rebinding: Polyurethane foam is shredded into tiny crumbs, coated in a binder, and compressed into heavy-duty blocks.

3️⃣ Repurposing: Those dense blocks are sliced into carpet padding, gym mats, and soundproofing insulation!

4️⃣ Chemical Recycling: Advanced facilities even break the foam down into raw liquid polyols to make brand-new cushions from scratch.

By choosing to recycle, you keep bulky waste out of landfills and support a circular economy.

✨Drop off your old mattress today and make a real impact!

We’re turning landfill waste into real opportunity for men ready for a second chance.

Through hands-on vocational training—from manual deconstruction to operating heavy freight machinery—our crew gains the tools, structure, and confidence needed to rebuild their lives.

We aren’t just recycling materials... we’re breaking down mattresses, building up lives. ♻️💙

Every mattress we tear apart is literally someone’s fresh start. 🔨✨

What we do goes way beyond just keeping old beds out of landfills. We hire guys who are looking for a second chance and give them real, hands-on training so they can get back on their feet and build a solid future.

On any given shift, our team is getting actual vocational skills—everything from tearing down mattresses by hand to driving freight, forklifts and running heavy machinery.

It’s hard work, but it gives people the experience, routine, and confidence they need to thrive.

At the end of the day, we’re not just recycling materials... we’re breaking down mattresses, building up lives. ♻️💙

This is one of those projects that’s been talked about, planned, and worked on for a long time, and it’s exciting to finally see it become a reality!

📍Rutherford County now has mattress and box spring recycling drop-off sites, and honestly, it’s a big deal 👏

If you’ve ever wondered what to do with an old mattress, you know it usually ends up taking up space in the garage, sitting on the curb, or heading straight to the landfill.

♻️ Now, residents have a better option ♻️

A lot of people have put in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to make this happen, and it’s great to see that effort paying off. This gives our community a simple, responsible way to recycle mattresses and box springs instead of throwing them away.

✨The next time you’re replacing a mattress, consider recycling it. Small actions add up, and together we can make a real impact on reducing waste and keeping valuable materials in use.

Let’s support this new program and help make Rutherford County a leader in smart, practical recycling. 🙌
