Are you ready to worship at the National Jamboree?

The Open Faith Service is happening. 10 AM at the Elevation Stage, July 26th, 2026.
What is an open faith service? It is a place for acceptance, questions, and connecting. It is open to you whether you have strong faith or none. It is a place to think about connecting Duty to God to how to live. Practical and real. Faithful and yet a simple invitation to look deeper in life.

After the Open Fatih Service, there will be a short Communion Service. If you have a place you are going, then we celebrate with you. If not, you are welcome here!

PARENTS DAY!

When Scouting comes into a family's life, parents become partners with Scouting and with their children. The safeguarding triangle is critical. Parents are more than along for the ride. They are in the boat and paddling too!

If you know, you know, but if you do not:
BOMBASTIC SIDE EYE
This emoji set captures a range of expressions conveying skepticism, judgment, and playful disapproval. From subtle side-eyes to blatant disinterest and knowing smirks, it's perfect for reacting to questionable statements or situations with a touch of sass. (Source: emoj.info/bombastic-side-eye)

This emoji set captures a range of expressions conveying skepticism, judgement, and playful disapproval. From subtle side-eyes to blatant disinterest and knowing smirks, it's perfect for reacting to questionable statements or situations with a touch of sass.

We advocate for a national emoji. We already have a national bird, mammal, and tree. On this Emoji Day, we should designate the Bombastic Side Eye as the National Emoji. It is a highly useful expression!

A Place to Belong
Every child deserves a place where they can grow into their God-given potential. Scouting is intentionally inclusive — shy or bold, artistic or athletic, confident or searching. The church can echo this welcome by ensuring that every young person knows they belong.

Creation Witnesses, Will We Listen
"The atheists... maintain that a religion that has to be learnt from books written by men cannot be a true one. But they don't seem to see that besides printed books... God has given us as one step the great Book of Nature to read; and they cannot say that there is untruth there - the facts stand before them... I do not suggest Nature Study as a form of worship or as a substitute for religion, but I advocate the understanding of Nature as a step, in certain cases, towards gaining religion" (Rovering to Success, Robert Baden-Powell, 1930, p. 181).

I cannot help but be moved by the grandeur of the large and the beauty of the small. I stand all amazed at what God has made. I take the youth outdoors so that they might experience the awe as well.

The Gift of Mentors
Every Scout can name the adult who believed in them. Mentors are the quiet heroes of Scouting — the ones who show up week after week, offering guidance, encouragement, and accountability. The church has always been a mentoring community. When we support Scouting, we multiply the number of caring adults speaking life into young people.

Service as a Way of Life
Service hours are not a box to check; they are a way of seeing the world. Scouting teaches youth to look for needs and respond with compassion. When the church partners with Scouts in service, we are teaching them that faith is not confined to a sanctuary. It is lived out in neighborhoods, parks, shelters, and schools — wherever love is needed most.
