After spending time clearing weeds and slime over the past 2 days, I am canceling tomorrow's US1M racing. There is just too much slime to even try to sail. Next week, we have EC-12s, slime or not, they can sail. At that time, we can talk about the Footy race as well.

We have entered the algae bloom at the pond. I will be working to clear the weeds around the dock but the slime remains. I am hoping for the pond to be treated this year but it is unknown at this point if it will be. Keep your eyes on this page for an announcement on if the pond is sailable this Saturday or not.

What an awesome time capsule I got in today. Back in 1990 this was made (this is new old stock never removed from the box). It was for a giant scale RC airplane and now some 36 years later it will be going into a RC sailboat. 1 Apollo 5 was taken at some point but the rest sat in the box and waited for me. And yes it was $99.95 back in 1990.

Wow, the make shift work shop is down to 1 left to finish. Repaired a rudder 2 sail control lines, one sail servo and a full internal refit. Then thier back to waiting to hit the pond. From top to bottom V36, Star 45, VM classic Epic, and my EC-12.
