— Josh McDaniel

Join us for a powerful Roundtable Discussion on the Importance of Religious Freedom.

📅 Friday, April 18
📍 St. Mary’s City, MD | 10–11 AM
👉 Register: https://www.rfacouncil.org/maryland

On April 18 from 10–11 AM, Gene Schaerr and other religious freedom experts will gather in St. Mary’s City to visit the site where America’s first religious freedom law—the 1649 Maryland Toleration Act—was created. They will review the history of the law and discuss how religious liberty continues to shape and protect faith communities today and beyond.

Afterward, join us for a “Free Exercise Walk” around historic St. Mary’s City—Maryland’s first capital (1634)—and step into early America. This unique experience offers a chance to learn, connect, and better understand why religious freedom matters for everyone. The tour is $18 per person.

A perfect way to celebrate America 250!

“When they sing... I am no longer myself, I am just part of a sublime whole, to which the others also belong... I wonder if the true movement of the world might not be a voice raised in song.”

Our hearts are with the Temple Israel community in Michigan after this week’s attack.

We are grateful lives were spared and for the security personnel who protected those inside—including the 140 children in the synagogue’s early childhood center.

To our Jewish friends and neighbors: you are not alone. The Religious Freedom Alliance Council stands with you in love and solidarity. Every person deserves to worship in peace and safety. ❤️

As America approaches the 250th anniversary of our nation, it is more important than ever to understand the principles that have shaped our country. Religious freedom has long been one of those foundational values—but values can erode when people are not informed or vigilant.

Join us for a Religious Freedom Workshop exploring why protecting freedom of conscience remains essential for the future of our country.

What you’ll learn:
• How religious liberty protects the rights of all people in a civil society
• Recent legal developments in Arizona
• Current religious freedom issues happening across the country
• Q&A and discussion on faith, freedom, and civil dialogue

🎤 Presented by:
Hannah Smith
National Coordinator for the Religious Freedom Alliance Council. After clerking at the U.S. Supreme Court for Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito Jr., she served a decade as Senior Counsel at Becket Fund for Religious Liberty and has spent her career advancing religious freedom for all.

Come learn, ask questions, and be part of the conversation about religious freedom and human dignity in America today. Register here: https://www.rfacouncil.org/mesa

“Our job here is not to win souls or to proselytize—to make someone Jewish, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Baptist, or Methodist. Our job is to be friends.”
— Pastor Welton Smith, Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church

We need so many more of these Religious Freedom events so we can unite this country on something we can all agree on. Share this video from the Protecting Religious Freedom and Human Dignity: Building Bridges symposium, held October 30, 2025—yes, in Las Vegas of all places!
