Operation Support our Troops - America Serving Active-Duty Military, Veterans, and Gold Star Families since 2003.

OSOT - America (formerly known as OSOT - Illinois) was founded in 2003 by military moms who wanted to engage the community and average citizens in supporting troops. The effort has grown and the mission expanded such that the name was changed to allow the organization to be a greater part of the national dialogue about the needs of troops and veterans. OSOT - America is especially passionate at a national level about finding new and better treatments for Post Traumatic Stress.

🇺🇸 Welcome Home! The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) returned to San Diego after a 321 day deployment (276 of the days were at sea without a port call) while playing a key role in Operation Epic Fury and maritime security operations in the Middle East. Over 5,000 Sailors and Marines were welcomed home by a cheering crowd of family and friends.
Within this group there were 64 new fathers meeting their babies for the first time! The USS Abraham Lincoln was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, the highest unit-level military declaration of the United States Armed Forces. It is awarded to military units for extraordinary heroism, gallantry, determination, and esprit de corps in action against an armed enemy under extremely difficult and hazardous conditions. 🇺🇸

We ❤ hearing from U.S. Service Members!

"Good Morning!
So nice to hear from you! My team (kiddos) are still hanging strong out here during these times, and unfortunately we have no finish line, as it is safe to assume the holidays will be looking very bleak from the seas on our little tin can. Thank you and you whole team for being so considerate and kind. Looking forward to seeing my kids receive your generosity! My leadership and I have ordered a small tree to try and help with the "feeling" of the holiday season, would be great to have stockings in addition to the holiday cheer! Thank you for all that you do!" 🇺🇸
