So much fun to see people enjoying the lights! We gave out free “magic” glasses! I met the president of à Rotary Club in Mexico, chatted with some Germans, and got a hug from a former student! So much joy in all the families and children walking through.

À beautiful night to be checking out the lights! Cheers to the FIA group that stopped by!

“We are excited and honored to once again work with the Sunrise Rotary to bring hope and healing to the children of Cheryl’s Children’s Home & School in Nairobi, Kenya, “ says Wenhold. “The donations from “Quiz Night for a Cause” will support the education of orphaned children rescued from abuse and abandonment.” Cheryl’s Children’s Home & School is currently building a new home and school facility in Nairobi.
Raffle items include a Water Street Naperville package including a Hotel Indigo stay, restaurant gift certificates to Water Street restaurants and shops and restaurant swag; wine collections from Water Street restaurants; wine selections from Sunrise Rotary members; an opportunity to join home chefs to prepare and enjoy a 3-course French Dinner and a selection of goodies direct from Tuscany.

With the threatening weather Santa has sent for Rudolph and the team and is leaving for the North Pole early this week. Although he had hoped to greet more kiddies at NaperLights in Downtown Naperville on Friday evening, he can’t risk any delays to get him back to the North Pole in time to pack his sleigh for Christmas Eve! So please stay in and cozy and warm! If you wish to visit NaperLights when the weather clears, various Water Street stores and Hotel Indigo will have the magic reindeer viewing glasses for free as long as they last. The lights and music will be up until after New Year’s Day.
Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday!
