We're growing!

Our Safe House garden is beginning to flourish. Tomatoes are forming on the vine, peppers are growing strong, and colorful flowers are brightening the space.

For many survivors, healing happens in small moments. Watering a plant, watching something grow, and spending time outdoors can provide a sense of peace, routine, and hope during a difficult chapter of life.

These garden beds are a reminder that with support, care, and time, new beginnings can take root.

We've refreshed!

After more than four decades of serving the Outer Banks community, Outer Banks Hotline is now Hotline Outer Banks.

While our look and name have evolved, our mission remains the steady. The same dedicated team continues to provide safety, support, and hope to survivors when it's needed most.

Our refreshed brand and new website launch today, June 1. Learn more about this exciting new chapter: https://hotlineouterbanks.org/get-connected/blog-archive.html/article/2026/05/28/rising-together-introducing-hotline-outer-banks

We’re so grateful to the nursing team at Outer Banks Health. These thoughtful kits will brings moments of comfort and encouragement to survivors during challenging times. Your compassion and support demonstrate how community partners make it possible for Hotline to serve its mission.

Thank you.

During National Nurses Week, Outer Banks Health nurses gave back to the community by creating and donating more than 75 mindfulness kits to Outer Banks Hotline, Inc.

These kits were assembled to offer comfort and support to women facing difficult circumstances. Thank you to our nurses for their compassion and commitment to caring for our community both inside and outside the hospital!

Preventing harm is a shared responsibility. It takes effort from individuals, the community, organizations, and systems to create environments free from assault and violence. If you see something, say something. Let's honor the survivors of sexual assault by working together to prevent it.
