Our second Community Enrichment Grant application deadline of 2026 is Friday, July 31.

Community Enrichment Grants are open to all types of projects with no restrictions on scope or focus, with funding requests up to $10,000. Early submissions are encouraged to allow time for review and feedback.

It is no secret that Glenn Eure Ghost Fleet Gallery is an Outer Banks treasure, and this amazing story written by Brian Tress shines light on how special Pat Eure is to our community.

On Thursday, May 21, we hosted a special opening reception for our brand new Community Terrace, a versatile outdoor space created to bring people together for conversations, celebrations, collaboration, and support of local nonprofits.

The 89th season of The Lost Colony kicks off this week! They are hosting Dare Nights on June 4 and 5.

Dare Nights are a general admission performance open to the public at a reduced price. Full time residents of Dare, Currituck, Hyde, and Tyrrell Counties can be admitted with a donation of 3 non-perishable items per person for a local food pantry. ID will be required.

Tickets can be reserved in advance online at www.thelostcolony.org or by calling the box office at 252-473-6000.
