🌞 This Weekend Matters.
This Saturday, Place of Refuge will be out in the community doing what we love most—meeting people where they are, sharing resources, offering encouragement, and reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
But we’re not stopping there.
On July 11, we’ll host our first-ever Community Picnic & Open House at Hackley Park—a day of food, fun, fellowship, resources, and community connection. It’s a chance to learn more about Place of Refuge, meet our team, and see the vision behind the work we’re doing throughout Muskegon County.
We also need YOUR help!
We’re currently looking for volunteers to assist with:
✅ Outreach activities
✅ Event set-up and clean-up
✅ Guest registration
✅ Food and beverage service
✅ Children’s activities
✅ General event support
Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your time can make a real difference.
