Join our Social Media Team! 📸

Hi AYSO 1508 Families!
Our season is underway, and we want to capture all the moments that make AYSO 1508 special — the goals, celebrations, team huddles, player tunnels, team photos, and all those fun moments happening on and off the field!
Our Social Media Coordinator is looking for a few parent volunteers from our 6U, 8U, and Schoolyard divisions to join our Social Media Team and help capture photos and short videos throughout the season.
No professional camera or photography experience needed! If you’re already on the sidelines with your phone and love taking pictures or videos, you can help.
We’d especially love help capturing:

⭐️Game-day action
⭐️Player tunnels & celebrations
⭐️Team photos
⭐️Coaches and team moments
⭐️Fun behind-the-scenes clips

Your photos and videos will help us showcase our players, teams, coaches, and the amazing community that makes AYSO 1508 French Valley so special.

⚽️🏟️ Opening Day is here! Join us Saturday, August 29, For part one of opening day— delicious treats for all AYSO players courtesy of our Region. Every player in our region may redeem a free shaved ice (thank you, Tikiz!) — plus many more treats and beverages available. Coaches will pass out one ticket per player so that they can redeem their shaved rice 🍧

Don’t miss Opening Day on Sunday, Tikiz Shaved Ice will be back to keep us cool — every region player who could not redeem their ticket Saturday Can can grab a free shaved ice Sunday, compliments of our region. Opening Day Schedule Updates:

6U-12U Core Divisions: We are modifying our opening day schedule for this Saturday, August 29th. The last match will start at 10:15AM. If your child is scheduled to play after 10:15AM on 8/29 then their match will be moved to Sunday, August 30th in the morning. Please make sure to check the Master Schedule Fall 2026 to see if your child’s match time has changed. You will also hear from your Coach with any scheduling changes.

Schoolyard Division: Our first Schoolyard practice for this Saturday will be rescheduled for a future date. As soon as we have an update with the rescheduled date we will share with our families. We look forward to seeing our schoolyard players on September 12th!

Upper Divisions (14U & 16U): We will be rescheduling our 11:00AM & 1:00PM home matches at Butterfield Park this Saturday. Please stay tuned for more information from your Coach. The morning matches will remain at the same time. We will also move the Wednesday, 8/26 14U match at Butterfield to Abelia Sports Park at 7pm instead. We are unsure at this time if any of our Away matches will be rescheduled. As soon as we receive information from other regions we will let our Coaches know. Area will also be updating the Area 1R Fall Schedule 2026 14U-19U if you would like to reference this.

While this is not the vision we were planning for our Opening Day this season, we are confident that this updated schedule will be the safest and least distributive solution for our region. We appreciate your understanding!

Good Morning Wolfpack Families,

With the high temperatures sticking around, we wanted to update everyone on some scheduling changes the Board has decided on for this upcoming week, to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe throughout this heatwave. ☀️🌡️

Practices for the week of August 24th:

We are requesting that 🚫 no teams practice before 6:00PM this week. In addition, coaches know to keep the workout exertion light and offer more water breaks. ⭐️ If you still don’t feel comfortable sending your child to practice this week, please keep them home. You know your child best and their safety comes first. Please wait to hear from your Coach if you have a normally scheduled practice starting earlier than 6:00PM.
