Before there was an Our Young Kingz Mentoring it was just me a single father raising twin boys. I’ve been with my sons their whole life but became a single father when they were five years old. There is no book, video, or memo that teaches you or shows you how to raise boys to be men. I relied on prayers; the experiences and knowledge of being raised by my father and all of the other life experiences I was awarded growing up and becoming the man that I am. I am very proud of the two young kingz that I’ve raised. I’ve made it a point to be surrounded by like-minded men who will also assist me in this mentoring program. I can say with nothing but confidence that we can make a positive impact on other young kingz out there who does not have a strong, independent male role model in their lives.
