Inter Tribal Sports Inter Tribal Sports (ITS) provides athletic opportunities and values education, in conjunction with cultural, physical, mental, and spiritual development.

Unifying tribal youth and communities through structured athletic programs while providing necessary resources and developing a strong foundation in culture, leadership and wellness. ITS furnishes youth and communities with occasions to build self esteem, respect, acceptance, and sportsmanship through fun and positive activities, while developing athletic skill and forming friendships, guided by a

ppropriate role models in a sound structured program, that is non-profit, volunteer-oriented, and open to all tribal youth.

* We’re seeking language speakers, traditional knowledge holders, linguists, elders, and community members from the Kumeyaay, Cahuilla, Cupa, Luiseño, and Serrano tribes to help guide this important initiative.

* Join our upcoming Zoom community meetings in June and help us incorporate our tribal languages into youth programming, outreach, sports, and more.

The 2026 ITS Soccer Season is complete! Thank you for an amazing season, we appreciate all the support and collaboration from our ITS community. We would like to thank ITS staff, tribal recreation staff, coaches, players, families, and our sponsors for your commitment to our program.💙🪶

This soccer season we hosted over 270 youth, serviced 13 tribes, all for a total of 28 teams participating in our 2026 Soccer Program!⚽️⚽️
