Maverick Stampede The MMS PTA Maverick Stampede is a Community 5K and Fun Run race. This fun filled community event is a benefit for the Murphy Middle School PTA.

The Murphy Middle School PTA will be hosting the return and now 2nd annual Fun Run! Bring the family out for a fantastic celebration of fitness and support the Murphy Middle School PTA, who in turn supports Murphy Middle School kids and their families!

Race Route Update!

Last year due to rounded turns by our runners, the distance fell slightly short of a full 5K. This year, we extended the route by 0.2 miles to care for the difference.

In addition, the fun run race distance will be one lap - approximately 2.5 miles.

The 100-meter Dash will be held on the MMS track at the same time as the Fun Run race.
