Time - Games will begin at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.

The deadline for Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation's Flag Football and Cheerleading registration is ALMOST here, and you don't want to miss it.

Registration is open now for both flag football and cheerleading and will end on Friday, July 10th.

Football is for ages 5 - 13
Cheerleading is for ages 6 - 13

*Player evaluations and uniform sizing will be July 10th and July 11th

We are so grateful for our time with Dean Ghee. He worked with the City of Murfreesboro for more than 23 years after his first retirement and was always willing to help out and help others -- and he always had a smile. He will be missed.

With the 4th of July holiday coming up McFadden will have pickleball from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
on Friday, July 3rd and
Friday night from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.

We will return to our summer hours of 9-11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6th.

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation presents Celebration Under the Stars: A Sparkling Salute to 250 Years
The 2026 Celebration Under the Stars powered by Middle Tennessee Electric will be held at the Fountains at Gateway on Saturday, July 4. Food trucks, music and family activities will begin at 4:30 p.m. John Foster will take the Fountains Stage at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at about 9 p.m.

Starting Monday, May 11, we will no longer have Monday night pickleball due to our youth volleyball league practices. We will still have our Friday night pickleball though.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday from 9 am-2:30 pm
Friday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm

McFadden Pickleball Update for Spring Break
Due to Spring Break for all the schools, McFadden will only have pickleball from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. We will still have Monday and Friday night pickleball from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

A magical night for Murfreesboro dads and their little princesses! 👑💖
For the fifth year, Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation hosted the Daddy Daughter Dance — a night full of music, memories, and moments that strengthen the bond between fathers and their daughters.
With surprise princess guests, lots of dancing, and more than 200 attendees, it was truly a night to remember. ✨
If you missed it this year… don’t worry — the magic returns in 2027!
