Today, the Prevent Child Abuse of Delaware County had the honor of picking up and delivering a Safe Haven Baby Box to the Yorktown Fire Department!

This marks only the second Safe Haven Baby Box in Delaware County, and we are committed to continuing this important work until every city in our county has one available.

Saving babies, one box at a time. 💙

As Prevent Child Abuse month comes to an end we want to thank everyone for participating and helping us raise awareness!

Remember, if you suspect a child is being harmed or neglected, you are required by law to report it.

Indiana law (IC 31-33-5-1) states that any individual who has reason to believe a child is a victim you must make a report. Failing to do so is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

You do not have to be certain. You do not have to investigate. You just have to make the call.

Today, Prevent Child Abuse of Delaware County proudly partnered with Secret Families for our first-ever combined Tractor Pull! 🚜💪

It was an incredible day filled with fun, friendly competition, and a shared mission—raising awareness for two amazing programs right here in Delaware County. We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support, participate, and make this event such a success!

Together, we’re building a stronger, more supportive community. 💙
