Thanks to all our great volunteers at the Mid Atlantic Basenji Club of Maryland Fast Cats held this past Saturday in Bridgewater, NJ. Lure operator Ching-Yao Yu kept things running smoothly while the dogs enjoyed running.

How to Keep Your Dog Cool in Extreme Heat without Air Conditioning

How to Keep Your Dog Cool in Extreme Heat without Air Conditioning
The summer heat can be stifling for both dogs and humans. And when we lose power, it’s not only stressful on our own bodies but on our dogs as well. Most breeds are designed to conserve warmth rather than dissipate it, which makes high temperatures especially dangerous.

Worried about heat? Learn how to keep your dog cool in summer without AC, plus easy tips to cool down a dog and avoid heatstroke risks.
