Flow Forward NJ partnered with Aunt Flow in 2024 to collect data on period poverty at New Jersey colleges and universities. Our findings are live - swipe to see the executive summary and our findings for the colleges with the most respondents. Flow Forward NJ's team would like to give a huge thank you to their partner's at Aunt Flow for sponsoring this survey, and our dedicated team of student volunteers at colleges across NJ for hanging flyers, tabling, and volunteering. Lastly, a huge thank you goes out to everyone who took the survey!

We are so excited to give a warm welcome to our first ever cohort of interns!! Our new friends will spend the summer with us, and help to coordinate some of our core programming. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish! ❣️

Starting this summer, you’ll find artists with us at our tabling events throughout NJ! You’ll be able to puruse the offerings of small artists while snagging free products from us! A portion of the proceeds these artists make will go to ending period poverty in New Jersey. Wanna join the program? Send us a DM! (note: the art in the post was made by the lovely for our art exhibitions who is not a part of the program at this time, but definitely give them a follow!)

WE’RE LOOKING FOR INTERNS! If you’re interested in getting experience helping with a nonprofit, are interested in menstrual health and enjoy independent tasks, this internship is for you! This is a three month unpaid internship from mid-June to mid-September, with opportunity to extend for the Fall. Interns will be tasked with various projects related to nonprofit and business administration, donor connections, education program advancement, public policy tracking, and event planning. Interns will have the opportunity to attend events like Lunar Faire, Farmer’s markets and our annual Flow Forward NJ retreat! We had a great time today featuring our new (as our volunteer put it) MASSIVE PAD at Asbury Park Pride! Artist Jesse () created this pad for our “The Beast, The Beauty” Art Exhibition, which we purchased for the org to take out in the field! It’s a great talking point for us, drawing people in with it’s absurdity and eye catching size. Thanks to everyone who came out today and snapped a pic with the pad, and thank you Jesse for your crafty creation!
