Note: The 3 smaller kittens pictured below are around 4 weeks older now than when the pictures were taken. I just haven't had the chance to get updated pictures taken...so they will be ready for their vetting very soon.

We are down to just 4 kittens that need to get their vetting done soon, & my heart colony will be officially done! This has been a true labor of love & commitment to get to this point. We had a wrench thrown in a few times, such as clinics shutting down during the pandemic, that made it take longer than anticipated.

However, we pushed forward each time & can actually see the finish line. Chloe & the other 3 babies pictured are the end of the line. It will be 50 dollars each to fix/vaccinate these last babies.

If anyone is in a position to help us reach our end goal, we would be beyond appreciative. We are sooooo close!

We will post pictures of the kitties & their invoices later today, but we have exciting news to share. It has been 10 years in the making, but the FINAL TWO adult males from my heart colony are being neutered at NNN today! This has been a 10-year project (the pandemic put a wrench in things for a bit) of labor & love in the making. The last adult female is being spayed on the 15th, then there are only three kittens in her final litter to be vetted & homes found.

To say we are ecstatic that 2026 is the last year kittens will be born at this colony is a huge understatement! If anyone is in a position to contribute towards the final leg of this incredible feat, we would be so appreciative. 🙏🏻🤞🏻

I completely forgot yesterday & today that Amazon was having Prime Day deals. This is a total shot in the dark while the deals are still going on since there are a lot of good coupons/discounts.

It would take a lot of pressure off of us to be able to stock up for the cold months for the feral colonies we love & be able to help others should they fall on hard times. In addition, a lot of the things we use for trapping & for feeding stations when trying to find a lost cat also have deals. Lastly, there are things we use a ton of (such as litter) & also things we like to have on hand in a pinch (formula, Hot Hands, etc.).

UPDATE: Placement found.

COURTESY POST: It’s that time of year...the second wave of kitten season finishing up & pets being abandoned outside just as the weather is starting to get colder.

This sweet (we think) girl is looking for a soft landing before she faces frigid weather. She is took skinny to survive a harsh winter. She gazes longingly into the finder's home, but it is impossible for the finder to bring her inside so she is doing the best she can by trying to find help for her. She loves attention, being pet, & even likes to be picked up & held. This poor girl is also said to be getting harassed by the male cat population outside so the last thing she needs is to also have a winter litter of kittens to deal with on top of the cold.

URGENT placement needed. Mama was trapped for TNR & found to be lactating. She was immediately released when safe to do so, but in the meantime a neighbor brought these two babies to the trapper & stated he "wanted them gone." While mama is always best we aren't sure if she will even return for them at this point since she won't be able to find them where she left them, it will be difficult to trap her again since she just was, then there is the concern that even if she does come for them...what if they end up on the neighbor's property again that doesn't want them there. They will still need formula supplementation at this age but will be of weaning age soon.

If a rescue or independent foster with bottle feeding experience is able to take them ASAP, please send us a message. 🙏🏻🤞🏻

We had put out a plea for help to replace a trap that had been stolen from a site Kim had been diligently working at to save dumped kittens from a fox-infested area. We mentioned that it would be super helpful to our work to have an extra trap on hand in addition to replacing the stolen one. What happened next blew us away.

Literally by the next day we had three amazing souls donate to help us acquire not just one...but TWO brand new traps!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

We deleted the post about needing to replace our stolen trap & hoping to possibly get an additional trap. Well...we would like to express our undying gratitude because we raised enough to order a couple traps to assist us in our ability to continue doing our work!!
