Soon after we changed our name, became a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization and started our journey! We are based in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania with fosters spread throughout Luzerne and Lackawanna counties. Each of our t
eam members dedicate space in our homes to focus on saving as many cats and kittens as possible while providing the BEST care for them.

Over the past 9 years of our mission, we have saved so MANY cats & kittens locally, out of state and even out of the country! The Junction Cat Rescue focuses on the adoption end of rescue but TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) is done when the need arises. We intake owner surrenders, strays, abandoned and abused cats ranging from neonate to senior age. Intake is always dependant on space availability. The Junction Cat Rescue has a 💯 NO KILL policy! Every life MATTERS and each cat stays with us until a HOME is found. We appreciate the overwhelming community love and support year after year! ❤ It means so much to us! We couldn't do this WITHOUT YOU!
