Next up—and this one deserves a big cheer—Jefferson County Toys for Kids 🎁❤️

This is the newest nonprofit downtown, and honestly? We couldn’t be more excited to have them here. What they do for kids at Christmastime is pure magic—turning generosity into joy, and stress into smiles for families who need it most.

Now that they’ve planted roots downtown with their own space, the sky’s the limit. More visibility. More volunteers. More impact. More kids waking up on Christmas morning knowing their community showed up for them.

This is what downtown is all about—heart, purpose, and people doing good. We’re proud to call Jefferson County Toys for Kids a downtown neighbor, and we can’t wait to see what they do next. 💙✨

✨ BIG NEWS for Jefferson County Families! ✨

We are beyond excited to share some incredible updates from Toys for Kids! 🧸

Thanks to the City of Mt. Vernon, we have been gifted a building that will serve Jefferson County families right in the heart of downtown Mt. Vernon.

📍 805 Main Street is officially the first permanent home for our organization since we began serving this community in 1991 — a milestone moment we are so proud of!

This gift means more stability, more impact, and more ways to support local families and children.

Stay tuned as we get ready to share even more exciting news that comes along with this incredible gift… big things are ahead!
