A quick look back at our Community Leadership Academy’s Leadership in Fashion Day! ✨👔👗

From exploring local businesses and learning about fashion and retail, to discovering our personal color palettes through color analysis, the day was full of valuable lessons and plenty of fun along the way. This morning we had the privilege of presenting a special Chamber Appreciation Award to Sarah Kluck and the Summer Meals To-Go Team! District 80 Food & Nutrition Services ☀️🍽️

Their dedication and hard work ensure that children throughout our community and beyond have access to nutritious meals during the summer months, making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless families. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to serving our youth and strengthening our community.🍎🥕🌽🍊

Yesterday was our Community Leadership Academy’s Leadership in Fashion Day, and what an incredible day it was! 👗✨

We kicked off the morning at ElseWear Consignment , followed by a visit to Toni Federici’s where participants learned about the design and production process of their custom & hand made wedding veils. It was fascinating to see the creativity and craftsmanship behind the scenes, and we’re fortunate to have such a unique business right here in our community.👰‍♀️

After enjoying lunch at The Frosty Mug Bar & Grill, we continued our fashion-focused journey with stops at RD Jewelers, Mod Threads Boutique, and Goodwill Industries International. Throughout the day, participants put their newly discovered color palettes to work as they searched for clothing, accessories, and pieces that complemented their personal colors.🌷☀️🍂❄️

The entire day was centered around the color analyses completed earlier by House of Colour Clay County. Each participant carried their color palette with them as they shopped, explored, and learned how color can enhance confidence, personal style, and professional presence.👩‍💼👨‍💼

A huge thank you to Elsewhere Consignment, R/D Jewelers, Mod Threads Boutique, and Goodwill for sponsoring our participants and helping make this day such a meaningful and hands-on experience. We learned so much, had a great time, and left inspired to apply what we learned both personally and professionally! 🎨🛍️✨

Our Community Leadership Academy participants had so much fun preparing for tomorrow's Leadership in Fashion Day with a personalized color analysis session from House of Colour Clay County! 🎨✨

A huge thank you to Morgan and Taylor for helping our participants discover their personal color seasons, identify the colors that complement them best, and learn more about how color can enhance confidence and personal presentation. It was exciting to see everyone uncover their color palettes and gain a new perspective on style.🌷☀️🍂❄️
