This spring, Knox County Foundation awarded $88,000 in Small Grant Awards to support six local organizations serving Knox County.

From preserving local history and expanding youth opportunities to supporting student well-being, workforce development, and economic growth, these projects help strengthen our community.

Thanks to the generosity of local donors, these investments continue to make a difference throughout Knox County.

Nonprofit partners, join us for June's Advocacy Hour on Thursday, June 4, from 9:00–10:00 a.m.

Advocacy Hour is a monthly virtual series designed to help nonprofits, local leaders, and community partners stay informed about public policy issues that may impact their work and communities.

This month's guest speaker is Joel Potts from the Ohio Department of Children and Youth. He will share updates on childcare from the state perspective, including current legislation and funding opportunities that may impact local communities.

We'll also discuss recent developments from Washington, D.C. and the Ohio Statehouse, including policy issues affecting nonprofits and the communities they serve.

Did you know the Knox County Foundation has been part of our community for more than 80 years?

Beatty B. Williams, CEO of Cooper Bessemer and the Foundation’s first board president, played a key role in its founding. He believed strongly in the power of philanthropy—not only giving generously himself, but encouraging other local leaders to do the same.

That spirit continues to shape Knox County today through the people who choose to give back and invest in their community.
