Horeb Area School district and surrounding rural communities. We are a thriving, community-supported, nonprofit organization formed as the Community Clothes Closet in 1997 that relies on donations from the community to help our neighbors in need β more than 2,500 families come through our doors every year. In 2020, we expanded on our mission, as we envisioned a community resource hub, offering ser
vices, centered on compassion for, caring for and loving our neighbor. Providing hope and a helping hand to eliminate hunger and homelessness, by connecting our most vulnerable citizens with resources that nourish, clothe and empower them to move from survival mode to a place where they are able to thrive and prosper. Our Mission is to provide food, clothing, personal items and relief services for those in need in the Mount Horeb Area School District and Surrounding Area. Our Clothing Closet is open to anyone residing, in the Mt. Horeb, Blue Mounds, Barneveld, and surrounding area. Our food closet serves those residing in the Mt. Horeb Area School District and surrounding rural townships, including Barneveld. It is the Helping Hands of our Neighors that make our mission possible. You can donate your time, by signing up to volunteer in one of many volunteer areas. Donate Clothing: We serve women, men, and children, and accept new and gently used clothing for all ages and sizes. You can donate clothes during open hours at the Clothes Closet and at any of our 15 partner churches. Due to space limitations at our facility, we ask that you donate only clean, gently used in season clothing. Please direct other donations toward worthy organizations such as St. Donation of Funds: The funding for our mission, is made possible thru individual donors, area business donors, other charitable organization donors, and funding provided by our 15 area faith communities. To make a financial donation, you can mail donations to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, PO BOX 196, Mt. Or donate on line: https://www.mthorebneighbors.org/donate
