It all started, July 2013, when a citizen of Mt.

Our Mission: Encouraging a dog friendly community and helping Mount Horeb establish, operate and maintain a dog park for the enjoyment of residents and their dogs. Horeb and a citizen of Blue Mounds met at a Verona dog park. Both agreed it was a shame they didn't have a way to exercise their dogs and meet other dog owners in their own community. ing signs to gather support and attending Mt. Horeb village board meetings to present the case. What started as two dog lovers hoping for something a little closer to home has turned into an active group of citizens working to promote a off-leash dog park. May 2015 - after many board meetings and support from the community, the Mt Horeb dog park was added the Mt. Horeb Outdoor Recreational Plan.
