From local favorites to incredible new talent, we’ve got a little something for everyone.

Learn how to plant and take care of your rain garden! Join us on Tuesday, May 12th from 5:30-7:00pm for an in-person Rain Garden Planting and Maintenance Workshop located at the Mounds View Splash Pad parking lot.
This hands-on workshop led by Metro Blooms Landcare experts will cover practices for keeping your rain garden thriving and functioning. Get guidance for identifying native plants, managing weeds, timing for rain garden maintenance activities throughout the year, and more.
This workshop is free for those living in the Rice Creek Watershed District, including Mounds View residents, and $15 for others. The City of Mounds View is proud to partner with EARTHDAY.ORG for the 2026 Community Clean-Up event. This year’s global theme, “Our Power, Our Planet”, highlights the impact that can be made when individuals work together to protect and improve the environment.
Community members are invited to join on Saturday, April 18th, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. to help remove litter at parks, playgrounds, and trails throughout the City. No special skills are needed, just a willingness to help keep Mounds View clean.
Following the Clean-Up, volunteers are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by the Mounds View Lions and the Mounds View Police Department.
Individuals, families, community groups, and businesses are encouraged to participate. T-shirts and all Clean-Up supplies will be provided for registered volunteers
