Project Ardan and FACE Foundation for the Advancement of Culture and Education teamed up this past Saturday for a Fall community yard & garden clean up. Two teams of volunteers split up and helped two of our Mounds View neighbors with some yard projects. It was the perfect temperature and rain held out. We had a great morning together!

Thank you to our sponsors for the event! We were able to provide our teams with coffee, water, snacks, and lunch. Mounds View Caribou Coffee, Spring Lake Park Hyvee, and Moe's American Grill - we appreciate you!

And thank you to the neighbors who came together! Neighbors helping neighbors is what it's all about. 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Project Ardan booth at Festival in the Park of Mounds View yesterday!

🎉 Festival In The Park 🎉

Project Ardan will again be at this year's Mounds View Festival In The Park. The parade and first half is tomorrow, Fri 8/21, and the second half is Sat 8/22. It will be held at the Mounds View City Hall Park & Community Center.

🍂 Fall Yard & Garden clean up 🍂

Project Ardan is coordinating a mass volunteer event to help neighbors in need this Fall; Saturday Sept 26. We will be accepting nominations from residents within Mounds View borders that need a little extra help with yard work & garden care. We will then be coordinating teams of volunteers interested in helping out. Volunteers will meet at Hillview Park and be split into teams to do a ~2.5 hour volunteer shift under the direction of the homeowner. Coffee will be provided in the morning to all volunteers, and lunch will be provided in the afternoon. Volunteers will also get a free Project Ardan t-shirt.

Restoration is underway at Silver View and Ardan Parks!

Landbridge Ecological is continuing the restoration efforts at Silver View and Ardan Parks, to help these natural areas thrive. The ongoing work will support the newly seeded native vegetation as it becomes established, while helping to control and suppress invasive species. Over time, these efforts will improve stormwater quality and create healthier habitats for pollinators and wildlife. Restoration is a process that takes time, but with each growing season we’re excited to see our parks continue to grow into healthier ecosystems.
