A glimpse into our return to Haiti. 🇭🇹💚
After a few years, members of the Hikmah Relief team returned to Miragoâne, Haiti to visit Madinah Orphanage & Academy and reconnect with the work firsthand.
This trip was about much more than checking in. We spent meaningful time with our children, walked the compound, reviewed the progress that has been made, met with our local team, identified opportunities for continued improvement, and strengthened relationships within the surrounding community.
Most importantly, being back on the ground reminded us exactly why this work matters: our children, their growth, and their future.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll take you inside Madinah. You’ll meet the children, see their education and activities, explore the compound, and get a closer look at the progress your support continues to make possible.
