Rainbow AAT is the largest and oldest dog therapy organization in the Chicagoland area.

Animal assisted therapy (AAT) is the utilization of animals to facilitate healing and rehabilitation. AAT programs are goal-oriented, unlike programs where an animal and its owner/handler simply visit patients or residents. AAT also differs from programs involving assistance, service, or companion dogs, where animals are placed with individuals as a part of their daily life.

August 28th is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day!

For nearly 40 years, Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy has trained volunteer handlers and their family dogs to serve as certified therapy teams. Today, more than 170 volunteer teams provide thousands of therapeutic visits each year. These visits bring comfort, encouragement, and healing to children, adults, and seniors across the Chicagoland area. Your generosity helps make every one of those visits possible.

This Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we invite you to honor the memory of a beloved pet who touched your heart with a special gift to Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy. 100% of your donation supports Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy. Your donation is a meaningful tribute to celebrate the companion who enriched your life, while helping Rainbow therapy dog teams bring comfort, compassion and unconditional love to people throughout our community.

Make your tribute in honor of your beloved pet here: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/rainbowbridgeremembranceday?blm_aid=75787
