The highlight? Reconnecting with two Ridge alumni who now call St. Zachary's Haven home. Seeing them thrive is why we do this. 💚

These grants represent an investment in the people, organizations, and programs working every day to address the impact of the opioid epidemic—supporting efforts to prevent addiction, save lives, increase access to treatment, strengthen recovery supports, and build more resilient communities.

Across Ohio, Regional Grant Cycle 2 will make approximately $45 million available, following our inaugural grant cycle that awarded more than $45 million to 245 projects statewide.

EXCITING NEWS FOR ST. ZACHARY’S HAVEN!

We are thrilled to announce that St. Zachary’s Haven has been awarded $137,718 from the OneOhio Recovery Foundation through its Regional Grant Cycle 2 to support our Recovery Access and Stabilization Initiative!

This two-year investment will help us strengthen recovery housing stability, remove barriers, and create new opportunities for the men we serve.

We are incredibly grateful to for investing in our mission and recognizing the importance of safe, supportive recovery housing in our community.

The Recovery Access and Stabilization Initiative was made possible thanks to the support of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation.

Recovery thrives in community. 💚

Thank you to Mighty Crow for highlighting St. Zachary’s Haven and the important role recovery housing plays in building connection, belonging, and community.
At St. Zachary’s Haven, we see every day that recovery is about more than having a safe place to live; it’s about having people beside you as you build a new life.
We’re grateful to be recognized alongside other organizations doing this important work and proud to be part of a community that believes recovery doesn’t happen in isolation.

SAMHSA's theme for Week 3 of Recovery Month is community, and we can't think of a better example of the important role community plays in recovery than our clients who work in recovery housing.

Road to Hope Inc. , Zepf Center, St. Zachary’s Haven , Ohio Recovery Housing, and House of Hope all understand something simple but essential: recovery doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in connection with others. These organizations build that connection into everything they do, giving people not just a place to stay, but a community to belong to.

🌿🌶️ Fresh from the Farm at Haven Market! 🌶️🌿

Our gardens are still giving us plenty to share! Stop by Haven Market and pick up a FREE bunch of fresh-cut basil to dry at home while supplies last. We currently have:

🌻 FREE SUNFLOWER HEADS — WHILE THEY LAST! 🌻

Our sunflowers have finished blooming, and now it’s time to enjoy the seeds! We have FREE sunflower heads available at Haven Market while supplies last. Stop by, grab a few, and roast the seeds at home for an easy fall snack.

Easy Roasted Sunflower Seeds

Remove the seeds from the sunflower head and rinse well. For salted seeds, soak them in a mixture of water and salt for several hours or overnight, then drain and pat dry. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast at 350°F for about 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden and fragrant. Let them cool and enjoy!
