We got 3 new horses a donkey and 3 goats in . We could use some help grooming everyone today, Tuesday 4/14 if anyone is available. We will be at the barn until about 3-4. 513-331-1974

This is why I do what I do , Lucy and Hazel , the happiest ending ever! Lucy and Hazel came to us in August , emaciated and neglected. Thanks to our partnership with Lindsay Scott and her students at Laurel Oaks, they made a remarkable recovery! We picked them up when the students went on christmas break and they were ready to be adopted. Hazel got adopted first. We rode Lucy here for a couple weeks on trails.And in parades , and the lady that adopted Hazel decided to adopt lucy as well. Yesterday we took them to their new home in their new pastures. I'm so happy for these lucky two horses!!

Tried so hard to save this little one we rescued at Sugarcreek, Dec 12th. This one really pulled my heartstrings...

She had molars so long they looked like pig tusks
Lice and mites,
Worm infestation
Diarrhea
Pneumonia

We had her teeth done, treated for all parasites, finally got the Diarrhea gone her gums and eyes were pink Pneumonia was being treated.

Yesterday I expressed I was finally hopeful she would survive she was eating good . She was OK at 11pm last night and had passed away sometime early this morning, so sad, but grateful she didn't die in a sale barn . Her last 2 weeks were full of love and treats.
