Today is Caylee Mastin Day. đ
There are some stories that never leave your heart, and Cayleeâs is one of them.
Over the years, so many of you have stood beside the Mastin family, prayed for them, cried with them, and carried Cayleeâs memory forward through every act of kindness done in her name. Her life mattered. Her story mattered. And the impact she continues to have on this community is something that will never be forgotten.
Today we remember Caylee not only for the tragedy of what was lost, but for the light she brought into the lives of so many people around her. We remember her smile, her heart, and the conversations her story has inspired that are helping save lives.
And today we also want to gently remind parents⌠please have the hard conversations with your kids. Talk openly about mental health. Ask the uncomfortable questions. Make sure they know they are deeply loved, needed, and never alone. Sometimes the strongest kids are carrying the heaviest battles in silence.
No child should ever feel like the world would be better without them.
If your child seems withdrawn, hopeless, overwhelmed, angry, isolated, or simply ânot themselves,â lean in. Listen more. Judge less. Keep showing up, even when they push you away.
Cayleeâs story continues to remind us how important it is to check on one another, to choose kindness, and to create safe spaces where kids feel seen, heard, and valued.
Today we honor Caylee. We honor her family. And we promise to keep spreading love, awareness, and hope in her memory. đ
