Morris Cub Scouts have S'MORE fun! Today we met at our camp (here in Morris!) and played a great game, hiked in the crunchy fall leaves, were introduced to Leave No Trace, learned how to build a campfire, sang some songs, and made the best s'mores! Want to join in the fun? Message us to visit our next meeting!

It was fun teaching this group of 6-10 year olds how to set up an “8 person” tent today! They also learned valuable lessons like
-knowing when the sun goes down so you’re not setting up after dark
-staking the tent to keep it from blowing away
-proper use of a rain fly to help prevent tent leaks

I think they’re all prepared to camp this summer!!!

This is what Cub Scouting is all about 🥰💛💙✌️

Happy Easter, Scouts!

Show us your egg dying skills!

We used whipped cream, food coloring & most importantly, vinyl gloves! 😅
