It was fun teaching this group of 6-10 year olds how to set up an “8 person” tent today! They also learned valuable lessons like
-knowing when the sun goes down so you’re not setting up after dark
-staking the tent to keep it from blowing away
-proper use of a rain fly to help prevent tent leaks

I think they’re all prepared to camp this summer!!!

Eagle Scout Caleb Furnell is suiting up for Team USA in the four-man bobsled at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

A former college sprinter, Caleb’s journey from the track to the ice is powered by preparation, perseverance, and the Scout motto “Be Prepared.” His family says those lessons from Scouting helped shape the discipline and focus that brought him to the world’s biggest stage.

Tonight’s pack meeting is canceled but thankfully we’re SUPER close to having all of our required adventures completed!

Please remember that adventures can also be earned at home! I’ll share some ideas in the comments!
