Unlocking Abilities Behavior and Learning, LLC We provide ABA and Speech services to kiddos from 2 to 10 years old at our Autism Learning Center in Morris, IL. Unlocking Abilities is based out of Morris, IL.

At Unlocking Abilities Behavior and Learning our goal is to assist each child in reaching their full potential by implementing the evidenced-based principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our compassionate and highly trained staff offer effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children who have been diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders.

Our services are designed to meet the individual needs of each child and to maintain lasting changes by working with children to reduce problem behaviors and increase the acquisition of appropriate social, play, communicative, and adaptive living skills. We provide services in parts of western Will County, southern Kendall County and Grundy County. This includes but is not limited to Morris, Minooka, Coal City, Braceville, Joliet, Shorewood, Morris, Channahon. Depending on geographical location, Unlocking Abilities may accept clients outs

🚧 Big things are happening at UABL! 🚧

After years of having a playground with limited shade and a space that didn't fully meet the needs of our learners, we are finally taking the first steps toward creating a sensory-friendly outdoor play area right in our own backyard... literally!

Today, our back fence went up, marking the beginning of an exciting transformation. We still have a little waiting to do for the side and front fencing, and fundraising efforts will continue to help make the rest of the vision a reality. Our hopes include a playground pad for tricycles, chalk activities, a playground structure, and other sensory-friendly features that will allow our learners to play, explore, and grow in a safe and engaging environment.

It's not finished yet, but today was a huge step forward. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our families, staff, donors, and community members who continue to help us move closer to this dream.

One fence at a time, we're building something special. 💙

Today we're celebrating the wonderful Ms. Victoria! Since joining the UABL family, she has brought so much positive energy, compassion, and heart to our clinic. Her determination, dependability, and willingness to always lend a helping hand make her an incredible teammate and an even more amazing therapist. 🌟

Victoria has a true passion for helping children succeed and loves celebrating every milestone, big or small, alongside her learners. She strives to ensure every child leaves their session on a positive note, and her caring, energetic spirit shines through in everything she does. It's easy to see why both our learners and team love having her around!

💙 So much fun, laughter, and growth happening at our new building lately! 💙

From trying out our new platform swing and exploring all of the new sensory spaces, to celebrating our Summer Countdown Spirit Week with fun themes, dress-up days, and a team potluck — it’s been so special watching this new chapter come to life at UABL. ☀️✨

Our learners have been loving the new rooms, new activities, and all the opportunities for movement, play, connection, and learning throughout the day. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement fill these spaces reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 🌈

We are beyond grateful for our amazing team, wonderful families, and incredible kiddos who make UABL such a special place every single day. We can’t wait to continue creating meaningful moments and memories together in our new home! 🏡✨

A huge thank you to the Morris Police Department and the incredible Athletes for such a thoughtful surprise this morning! 🍩💙

Our kiddos were SO excited to receive delicious donuts delivered right to our clinic as part of today’s Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser supporting Special Olympics Illinois. Seeing the officers and athletes stop by made the morning extra special for our learners and staff! 👮🍩✨

A special thank you to Ekko Lawns for generously gifting UABL the $250 donation package — allowing our kiddos to be part of such a fun and meaningful experience. Your kindness and support mean so much to our UABL family!

We want to send a very sincere shout out to Jessica Kline and her team at Tattered Accents, along with Kevin from KG Home Services, for answering our distress call during our building project. 💙🎨🔨

You know how construction projects go… no matter how amazing your contractor and crew are, there are always unexpected snags and last-minute chaos (And trust us, our contractor and flooring crew absolutely deserve their own separate shout outs because they have been incredible!).

With a major time crunch and opening day quickly approaching, we realized we needed help getting to the finish line and getting paint on the walls of a 4,700 square foot building… fast. We put out a post in a local Facebook group asking if anyone would be willing to help, despite the short notice and huge task ahead of us.

And they showed up. 🙌

Jessica and her girls — including her amazing daughter — jumped right in and gave their free time to help us tackle this project. Kevin also stepped in and even handled painting kitchens, ceilings, and a random last-minute plumbing issue that popped up just days before opening. They taught us tricks of the trade, worked incredibly hard, and were simply an amazing asset during a very stressful time.

We feel truly honored to have met them, and we will always be grateful for their kindness and willingness to help our small business when we needed it most. 💙 It says so much about the incredible small businesses and people in this community.

Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing team members — Tyler! 💙

Tyler brings such a calm, cool, and collected presence to UABL, along with a kind heart and an energy that lifts up everyone around him. He’s reliable, patient, and always willing to go above and beyond for both his kiddos and his team. It’s no surprise that our learners absolutely love him!

Since starting his journey in ABA, Tyler has made such a meaningful impact at UABL. He truly values every step of his learners’ progress — big and small — and works hard to make each session fun, engaging, and something his kiddos look forward to.

Outside of UABL, Tyler enjoys coaching wrestling, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. 🎬🤼‍♂️
