Project Chimps OFFICIAL PAGE of Project Chimps, a non-profit sanctuary for former research chimpanzees in North GA.

Project Chimps was founded in late 2014 by a “super group” of chimpanzee, nonprofit, philanthropic, and legal experts to solve the critical question of what would happen to the hundreds of chimps still left in private biomedical research. After months of negotiations with the research institutions, Project Chimps secured agreements to permanently retire the chimpanzees. This was a colossal step in the right direction, and we are proud and grateful to our partners for making this decision for the betterment of the chimpanzees in their care. Join us in celebrating two October birthdays this week!
Mandy turns 16 today and Haylee turns 15 on Wednesday.

If you'd like to send either of them -- both of them? -- a birthday gift, check out our Amazon Wish List where the Care Staff has prioritized whatever toys, snacks or plushies are needed right now! And, the best part, they can be delivered directly to the sanctuary! https://a.co/83vEVmI

We are beyond grateful. 🥰
Together, you helped turn an exciting Giving Day for Apes into a record-breaking achievement. After reaching our initial goal and unlocking an increased challenge match, supporters continued to rally, pushing us beyond our expanded fundraising target. 🎊
Your generosity will directly support the specialized care, nutritious meals, enrichment, and sanctuary these remarkable chimpanzees rely on every day. 🐵
Thank you for helping create a brighter future for every chimp at Project Chimps.
