👩🏻‍⚕️ FREE WOMEN'S HEALTH CLINIC DAY

The Hope Pregnancy Care Clinic is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of women in our community. In support of this mission, we are thrilled to announce a Free Women’s Health Clinic Day.

This event is designed to provide essential, no-cost, preventative care services. We understand the importance of routine screenings, and during this clinic day, we will be offering the following crucial health services:

FREE PAP SMEAR: A vital screening test that checks for precancerous or cancerous cells on the cervix.

FREE BREAST AND PELVIC EXAM: Clinical examinations performed by a healthcare professional to check for any potential abnormalities or concerns.

We will also be providing same-day referrals for mammograms for any woman who requires additional screening. This ensures a streamlined process for follow-up care and detection.

-Informational Session on Body Literacy-

Following the clinical exams, participants are invited to attend a brief, but highly informative 20-minute informational session. This session will include a dedicated module and discussion focused on Body Literacy for women’s health.

The goal of this discussion is to empower women with a deeper understanding of their bodies, menstrual cycles, and overall reproductive health, enabling them to make informed decisions and better communicate with their healthcare providers.

💡 HELP WITH ELECTRIC BILLS AVAILABLE FOR KENTUCKY HOUSEHOLDS 💡

Kentucky residents will soon be able to apply for assistance through the LIHEAP Spring Subsidy program, aimed at helping offset rising cooling costs.

Applications will be accepted April 20 through May 22, 2026.

Households with income at or below 150% of federal poverty guidelines may qualify for a one-time electric benefit, which is paid directly to the energy provider. No past-due bill, disconnect notice, or eviction notice is required to apply.

⚠️ Applications are first-come, first-served and will be accepted until funds run out.

🚨👶 Ge**er Recalls Arrowroot Biscuits Due to Possible Foreign Material

Ge**er Products Company has issued a nationwide recall of select batches of Ge**er Arrowroot Biscuits after possible soft plastic or paper pieces were found in the product. The affected items were produced between July 2025 and September 2025.

📦 The recall impacts 20+ batches with best-by dates ranging from October 2026 through December 2026.
🛑 Parents and caregivers are urged not to feed the product to children.
💵 Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.

Ge**er says no injuries or illnesses have been reported and the recall is being done out of caution after a supplier issue.
