WOW! we have a one of a kind historic chinchilla gem, much like Edgar himself!. We are holding a silent auction for this item. Item is a covered bowl that was given to Edgar Hykes for judging the 1993 Western Ohio branch show. It measures 8 inches high to the top of the chinchilla and is 8 inches wide at its widest point. It is in pristine condition with no chips or cracks.

It will be transported to the National Show on April 18/19, for pick up or travel arrangement by the winning bidder. Auction bids can be submitted to [email protected] Auction closes April 19th at noon.

Condolences go out to Chris Woods this morning. Dave Woods passed away last night. Dave was a former ECBC National Director and both Dave and Chris were very active for many many years with MCBA. Dave and Chris are highly regarded chinchilla breeders and members who gave of themselves to make the chinchilla organizations better. More information as soon as it is available

Reaching out for hurricane HELP!

We have a chinchilla breeder in Georgia who has seriously felt the effects of Hurricane Helene. A tree came down taking off the door to the chin barn and also destroying her back up generator.

Power is out and they estimate 10 days. Does anyone know of someone in Georgia who can help get her a generator to help cool the chins. If so, message me for more details.
