FYI for herb gardeners

A lot of herb problems start with cutting them the wrong way ✂️ These little harvesting habits help keep plants fuller for longer:
🌿 Basil: Pinch above a leaf node so it branches instead of turning tall and skinny.
🌱 Cilantro and parsley: Cut outer stems near the base and let the center keep growing.
🌾 Rosemary: Stick to green growth and avoid cutting hard into old woody stems.
🌿 Mint: Cut it back more boldly to keep it bushy and fresh.
🌱 Thyme: Light, regular trims are better than hacking the whole plant down at once.
My tip: I try to harvest herbs before they get too overgrown. Small regular cuts usually make the plant respond better than one big haircut.

🎉 **Congratulations, Deputy Chief Spellman!** 🎉

We would like to congratulate Deputy Chief Spellman on successfully completing the 104th Session of the Administrative Office Management Program (AOMP) at NC State University!

This intensive 3-month, full-time program is designed for law enforcement leaders and focuses on leadership, management, and the day-to-day operations of agencies. Throughout the course, students complete college-level work including papers, presentations, and exams—earning a total of 15 college credit hours (9 undergraduate and 6 graduate hours). 📚

Deputy Chief Spellman shared that it was an honor to be alongside twenty-four law enforcement leaders who all share the same vision and dedication to becoming better leaders in the profession.

The AOMP is known for being demanding and fast-paced, requiring discipline and a high level of performance from start to finish—and Deputy Chief Spellman rose to the challenge!
