Karen Sullivan (Still Us Founder), Jim Smith, (Still Us Board Member and grower of beautiful zinnias!) and Dee Lombard (WOSL member and Still Us volunteer).
WOSL was proud to be a small part of this fundraiser for Still Us! Members baked and volunteered to help sell the baked goods, bouquets of zinnias, Still Us merch, and man the hotdog stand. Still Us raised over $30,000!

A huge "shout out" to all the women who baked and helped run the bake sale at the Still Us Foundation fundraiser held at The Pickle Place this past weekend. The baked goods were unbelievably delicious! The foundation made over $30k; our bake sale contributed 100s of dollars to this worthy cause. Thank you again for contributing your time for something incredibly important. You are all amazing women that make a difference in our communities.

The Women of Seven Lakes' members enjoyed an excursion to the Lazy Fox Lavender Farm in Cameron, NC on May 21. We were treated to an insightful tour of the beautiful farm and learned about a variety of lavender plants. The farm's gift shop was full of farm made lavender products to purchase. We were also able to buy an assortment of potted lavender plants from the greenhouse. The outing ended with a delicious boxed lunch that we enjoyed eating out on the veranda. The lavender lemonade was especially refreshing! The public is invited to spend a day at the farm on Saturdays or enjoy an authentic English High Tea event. Visit the farm's website for more information at: WWW.LAZYFOXLAVENDERFARM.COM

Sara Reagan of Salty Boards treated members to a wonderful demonstration on the art of creating charcuterie boards.
