GROWING THE GAME. INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION. CELEBRATING GIRLS HOCKEY!

What an incredible afternoon at the Malone Civic Center!

As part of our inaugural North Female Hockey League (NFHL) Showcase Weekend and in celebration of the spirit of IIHF World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend, we brought together an amazing group of young female hockey players for a special NCAA College Skills Clinic!

A HUGE thank you to SUNY Canton Women’s Hockey Coach Kalie Hart, along with the outstanding women’s hockey players from SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam, for taking the ice and sharing their knowledge, skills, and passion for the game! 👏🏒

With players representing the Adirondack 46ers, Central Vermont Black Bears, St. Albans, and Adirondack Northstars, this afternoon was about so much more than hockey drills.

It was about creating opportunities, building friendships, inspiring young athletes, and showing these girls what is possible through hard work, dedication, and a love for the game.

Today’s college players were once the young girls looking up to someone else. Now they’re the ones inspiring the next generation!

This is exactly what the NFHL was created to do… bring programs together, create meaningful experiences, and continue growing opportunities for female hockey players across our region.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special afternoon possible!

The future of girls hockey is BRIGHT, and we’re just getting started! 🚀🏒
