Last week, we sent our team of Advocates to NSAC (National Sexual Assault Conference) in Washington D.C!

We are so proud of our own Director of Advocacy, Mary, who was chosen to present a workshop at the conference!

Mary’s workshop, Joy As A Strategy, explored joy as a strategic tool in advocacy and violence prevention. Participants were asked to reflect on moments of joy in practice and create actionable strategies to integrate joy into daily practice and organizational culture.

Save the Date!

Mosaic's Annual Rainbow Harvest Fest will be Saturday, September 19th from 10am - 12pm on the Vermont Statehouse Lawn.

Rainbow Harvest Fest is a community event that is rooted in the understanding that healing happens through joy, movement, creativity, and connection. That’s why this event brings together organizations, groups, and everyday people who help Vermonters feel good in their bodies and connected to their communities.

Every time we ask for tents, sleeping bags, and tarps, we wish we didn't have to.

These items aren't designed for months of continuous outdoor living. They endure constant exposure to rain, snow, wind, sun, and daily wear.

People sometimes ask if we can simply reuse donated tents. We do when we can—but many older tents arrive with missing poles, mildew, leaks, or other damage. It takes significant staff time to inspect, assemble, test, clean, and repair each one, and many ultimately aren't safe or reliable enough to distribute.

We believe the answer to homelessness is housing—not tents. But until everyone has a safe place indoors, we want to be able to offer dependable gear.

Thank you for continuing to help our Street Outreach Team provide the essentials people need today while we work toward the lasting solutions our community deserves.
