🎨 Ever wanted to learn how a mural comes to life?

This summer, young artists (ages 9+) have a unique opportunity to learn from Aryn Lill, the artist behind the newest stunning mural at the Monticello Community Center. Her work has become one of the most visible and celebrated pieces of public art in our community, and now she’s sharing her skills through a new class, Community Mural Makers!

Students will learn mural design, large-scale painting techniques, and what it takes to bring public art to life.

MontiArts and local high school and college artists transformed the Monticello Skate Park with new art. Thanks to the City of Monticello, the Parks, Arts, and Rec. Dept., and to Mayor Lloyd Hilgart for donating the paint! Skate park is nearing completion! Video by Ben Lundquist

Join us for this inspiring 12-week creative journey based on Julia Cameron’s beloved book The Artist’s Way. What a beautiful rainy evening it was for MontiArts’ BLOOMAPALOOZA Floral Art Show opening night last night! We had such a great turnout.
