Tamales for lunch? Yes, please! 🫔

Today, at our junior high and high schools, we served chicken and cheese tamales! These beautiful tamales are from Rodriguez Family Foods in Fort Worth.
We love finding ways to make school meals exciting while celebrating our commitment to fresh, local foods through the Farm Fresh Challenge!

Fresh Starts Here — So Many Choices! 🍎🥦

Did you know students have choices when they come through our cafeteria lines?

A complete lunch includes:
🍽️ Entrée
🥦 At least 2 vegetable choices
🍎 Fruit
🥛 Choice of milk
And often, we offer additional fruit and vegetable choices so students can mix, match, and find foods they enjoy!

Our goal is to provide nutritious options while giving students the opportunity to make choices about what goes on their tray.

More choices. More variety. More fresh foods.
