The ASCA was proud to be a Trophy Sponsor for the April Sound Country Club Social Committee Car Show—and what a great day it turned out to be! 🚗
There were so many beautiful classic cars on display, along with some fantastic vendors that made the event even more enjoyable for everyone. Our group had the honor of selecting the winner of the “April Sound Civic Association Choice Award,” and we all agreed—the stunning 1970 Chevelle! We were thrilled to present the owner with his trophy, and even more excited that his car also earned a spot in the Top Ten. 🏆
The weather tried to rain on our parade, but thankfully it never dampened the spirit of the event—or the shine on those incredible cars! 🌧️➡️☀️
We would also like to recognize the event’s charity, Warriors Adventures -Warrior Mountain River Adventures, who received a generous donation thanks to participants and car owners who supported the 50/50 raffle. What a meaningful way to give back! ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to the ASCC Social Committee for putting together such a fun, free, family-friendly community event. We loved being a part of it and can’t wait for the next one!

We’re just a little over 10 days away from the April Sound Civic Association Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, April 18th — it’s almost time to shop, sell, and find some treasures! 🛍️
There are still spaces available if you’d like to participate. Contact Linda Harmon at 661-810-5157.
Spots are reserved for April Sound residents, while shopping will be open to guests from outside the community — so it’s a great opportunity to clear out those closets and make a little extra cash! 💵

Did you know the April Sound Civic Association is powered by a team of 13 elected volunteers—and it’s truly a working board!
Every amazing event you enjoy throughout the year takes hours of planning, coordination, and a whole lot of hands-on effort. And we couldn’t do it without the support of our incredible volunteers!
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at what it takes to get Reserve F ready for our Annual Easter Eggstravaganza:
It all starts with the board (and their spouses!) coming together to stuff 6,000 eggs with candy—and placing gold $1 coins into 150 special golden eggs.
A big shoutout to our VP, Greg Peters, for tackling ant mounds in the days leading up to the event—no small job!
We also partner with ASPOA to let the grass grow a bit longer before the hunt (because finding those eggs should be part of the fun 😉).
The day before, our team rolls up their sleeves for a full cleanup—clearing limbs, trash, and yes… even pet waste—to make the space safe and enjoyable for everyone. We rope off areas for each age group, gather supplies from storage, and prep every detail.
Then on event day, we’re out there bright and early at 8:00 AM—setting up, welcoming vendors (petting zoo, pony rides, train rides), organizing parking, and getting everything ready for the Easter Bunny’s big arrival before the 11:30 kickoff!
As you can see, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make these FREE community events possible. They are funded through memberships and fundraising—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

The ASCA Eggstravaganza crew has been hard at work prepping Reserve F for tomorrow’s festivities—and we are SO egg-cited! 🐰✨

🚨 Parking Reminder:
With both ASCA and Country Club events happening, parking will be at full capacity. Please plan to arrive by golf cart if possible—it’ll make things much easier for everyone!
