🛏️ Another Weekend of Building Dreams Across Downriver! 💙

Our Downriver Wayne County team was back at it this weekend, delivering beds to local children and helping make sure more kids have a safe, comfortable place to sleep tonight.

A huge THANK YOU to our Team Captains and community volunteers who continue to give their time, energy, vehicles, and hearts to make these deliveries possible. Every bed delivered happens because people in our community are willing to step up for their neighbors. 💙

🚨 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY’S HELP

The need for beds across Wayne County has greatly outpaced our current supply. We are actively looking for local businesses, organizations, churches, and community sponsors willing to help us continue supporting children throughout the Downriver communities.

Whether you sponsor beds, support an upcoming build, donate supplies, or volunteer your time - you can make a direct impact on a local child.

🛏️ 18 BEDS DELIVERED THIS SUNDAY! 🛏️

A huge THANK YOU to the volunteers and Team Leads who spent their Sunday afternoon with us delivering 18 new beds to children in our community. Because of you, these kids have a fresh opportunity for a great night’s sleep tonight and for many nights to come. 💙

📣 OUR CHAPTER IS IN DIRE NEED OF TWIN-SIZE MATTRESS PROTECTORS!
Every new mattress we deliver needs a protector to help keep it clean and in great condition for years to come.

We are also always accepting in-kind donations of new twin/sized bedding and are happy to arrange pickup or porch drop-off. Every donation helps us put another child in a bed of their very own.

Our thanks to the Quilt Ministry of Christ Our King Lutheran Church in Saline, MI for providing a brand new quilt for each of these beds. 🫶

Tonight, our amazing volunteers delivered 10 beds to children across our Downriver communities, providing each child with a safe, comfortable place to sleep. 🏡💤

Tonight, 11 more children across Monroe County will have a safe, comfortable place to sleep thanks to the incredible dedication of our volunteers! ❤️🛏️

Our four delivery teams traveled throughout Monroe, Monroe Township, Dundee, and Petersburg, bringing not just beds, but hope, comfort, and friendly support to these well deserving families.

We also need your help! We are currently in desperate need of twin-size mattress covers to protect each new mattress and help ensure these beds remain in great condition for years to come. If you’re able to donate, your support will have a direct impact on the children we serve.

Last night, our Sleep in Heavenly Peace Downriver Delivery Hub had the privilege of delivering beds to children and families across our Downriver communities, giving more kids a safe, comfortable place to sleep. ✨

Every bed delivered represents so much more than furniture. It brings comfort, dignity, hope, and the opportunity for a better night’s sleep and a brighter future.

What an incredible afternoon serving families across Downriver Wayne County! ❤️🛏️❤️

Today, our volunteers delivered 26 beds to children who now have a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Every delivery is a reminder of why we do what we do...because every child deserves the dignity of a bed to call their own.

To our amazing volunteers, sponsors, referral partners, and everyone who supports our mission: thank you. These moments wouldn’t be possible without your generosity, compassion, and dedication to serving our community.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of these children and their families is what makes every build day and delivery day worthwhile.
