Ground 40

If you know anything about GROUND 40, you know that we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates solely through donations and the kindness of the communities that support us.

We bring men out of prison, addiction, homelessness, and even other recovery programs, and give them a place to call home for a minimum of six months. During this time we do everything possible to biblically disciple these men, and to help them stand back in their positions in their homes and their communities.

While they’re with us, we do our very best to provide them with every resource available, and we don’t forget about their families either.

We do all of this at absolutely no cost to the men or their families. No insurance, no individual bed sponsors, just the Lord’s faithfulness and the generosity of people who believe in what we’re doing.

Each year, we typically have one fundraiser that helps us continue this work.

Well, this year we weren’t able to have our annual fundraiser, but some pretty incredible friends decided to do something about it.

When our friends at Born Southern Outfitters heard about it, they stepped in and said they wanted to help. And if you know these guys, you know they don’t do anything halfway!

So, on November 28th, Born Southern Outfitters will be hosting the Country Boy Olympics at our GROUND 40 Farm!

Our guys have already been putting in the work getting ready for these events , and we’re looking forward to a really good day.

Make plans to come spend the day with us, bring your family, and maybe even talk a few of your buddies into signing up to compete!

We’re incredibly grateful for friends who don’t just believe in what the Lord is doing at GROUND 40, but are willing to roll up their sleeves and be part of it.

When our friends at Born Southern Outfitters found out we didn’t have an opportunity to have a fundraiser this year, they stepped in and said they wanted to help. If you know them, you know they go All in.

November 28th they will be hosting The Country Boy Olympics at our Ground 40 farm property.

Tonight was definitely one to remember.

We’re so thankful for our friend Dennis Moser and the way he loves our GROUND 40 guys. Dennis doesn’t just take them out once a month, he sits with them, listens to their stories, encourages them, and genuinely takes the time to know them.

Tonight he had us load the guys up and head over to Golden Corral for a meal together, and then we got to do something our guys love to do… worship Jesus.

Our friend Steve Strickland from First Baptist Indian Trail led us in a powerful time of worship, and if you know anything about our guys, you already know they sang at the top of their lungs.

Good food, good fellowship, and a room full of men singing praises to the Lord.

Dennis, thank you for loving our guys so well. Nights like tonight mean more than you probably realize.

The Lord is so kind to us.

Today we gathered at the GROUND 40 Farm for our annual reunion.

Men and their families from years past, men who are currently walking through the program, and even some who are just beginning their journey gathered together in fellowship.

Days like today are just a sweet reminder of how faithful our God has been.

So many stories. So many families. So much grace.

Some of these men walked onto this property years ago in some of the hardest seasons of their lives, and today they came back with their wives, children, and families.

The Lord has been so kind to us.

All glory belongs to Jesus.

What a day at the Ground 40 Farm!

GROUND 40 has always been blessed by a community that comes alongside us, and today was another reminder of just how blessed we are.

Since 2018, we have hosted our Farm Fun Day at the Ground 40 Farm, and somehow each year it just gets better and better.

The community that continues to come around this ministry is incredible. We love you guys, and we don’t take any of it for granted.

From the bounce houses and hay rides to the horse rides and everything in between, today was a good day…but it gets even sweeter.

The Gospel was presented, and then our friend Micah Christopher led us in a beautiful time of worship. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to every vendor, donor, and volunteer who showed up and helped make today possible. You guys make days like this happen, and you play a huge part in making this ministry possible.

We love each and every one of you. Thank you for making Farm Fun Day 2026 such a special day.

Our friend Micah Christopher will be joining us for live worship. We’ll also have horse rides, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, bounce houses, vendors, and more. Bring the family and come spend the day with us!

Today, we remember the lives that were lost, the families who still carry that pain, and the courage shown by so many on September 11, 2001.

Even in our darkest moments, God remains our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble. May we never forget.
