We had the honor of assisting in the relocation of a 90 year old Army Veteran and service dog after being hospitalized. Local VFW post 5464 in Monroe was informed of the situation and was able to aquire a wheelchair. Monroe VFW also acquired plane flights through Patriot Cove. Hand over heart provided batteries for the wheelchair, assistance in walking the service dog while recovering, an appropriate kennel for flight and transportation to the airport. A fellow VFW Veteran is traveling with them to insure they get to Alaska safely with family. Enjoy your fresh start brother, it has been a pleasure.
Update: They have arrived safely and are currently with family.

He said anther VFW and the veteran nonprofit Hand Over Heart got Sellars a wheelchair.

We were able to repair a roof leak for a Veteran organization. We will check back in after the rain this weekend.

We assembled walkways for a veteran to eliminate trip hazards
