Scouts from across Pennsylvania gathered in the Main Rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol on Monday for the annual Scouting America’s Report to the Commonwealth event.
During the visit, scouts had the opportunity to meet with state legislators, tour the House and Senate chambers, and share highlights of scouting's impact and activities throughout the Commonwealth.
Events like these help Scouts develop leadership, citizenship and a deeper understanding of how government works while showcasing the positive contributions Scouts make in their communities every day.
It was great to catch up with Mitchell Horhut, a cub scout from Cub Scout Pack 562 - West Jefferson Hills, and his parents, Jaime and Steven, along with his sister, Paige.
