Cali_FID Parrot & Exotics Rescue Sanctuary Established in May 2011, Cali_FID Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to aiding exotic pets.

Supported entirely by donations, our volunteer-run organization operates out of foster homes in Modesto, CA. We receive exotic animals ( not dogs, not cats, not wildlife) from the local city and county run animal shelters, vet clinics, pet stores and private citizens. All animals are evaluated for medical and behavioral issues. The sanctuary is for those deemed too medically fragile or too behaviorally unsuitable for life as pets.

We received another red eared turtle from the Arbor Pet clinic in Lodi. Yes, she too was hit by a car. Dr. Turner and his wonderful staff have done the repairs and now we will work on her rehabilitation.

Dr. Turner treats all animal species ( including Exotics ) and has 3 clinics if you need a veterinarian for your pets.
