We have updates for you!
We have been asked to no longer bring our birds to the Petco Store. The store began to carry chicks, and has been experiencing issues with their birds being sick, and asked us not to bring ours to the store anymore out of an abundance of caution.
You can still come meet adoptable critters EVERY SATURDAY from 1pm to 4pm at the Modesto Petco on Evergreen. Just walk on in.
Volunteers will be there with a rotation of animals who have been waiting for new homes. You can apply in advance on our website, or come down in person to browse. ( Our website is currently being remade, so see our other pinned post for a direct link to the adoption form. )
We often have animals such as a variety of lizards, snakes, turtles, tortises, as well as small rodents like rats, mice, hamsters and even animals like rabbits, too! We also have Chinchillas and aquarium critters, just contact us in advance if you're interested in them.
You can find us in our adoption center to the left of the store, just behind the groomers.
Please note, some animals like the Large Parrots and Chinchillas require an application to be approved in advance before an appointment can be made.
PET SURRENDERS are only by appointment ONLY. Please email us 24 hours in advance to ensure a volunteer and foster can be arranged, we often have a wait list.
DO NOT leave animals unattended with the petstore employees or at the store. That is criminal abandonment.
