Food banks across Alabama are seeing firsthand what proposed SNAP cuts could mean for families already struggling to put food on the table.
In this WBRC 6 News conversation, food bank leaders came together to discuss rising food insecurity, the critical role SNAP plays in helping families afford groceries, and the growing pressure on charitable food networks.

We’re grateful to see these important issues getting attention. Food banks are committed to serving our neighbors, but charitable food assistance cannot replace the scale and reach of SNAP.
