Stand Up Mobile

Stand Up Mobile We're committed to bringing the power of the Black vote to every election.

We believe it is important that all people have their voices heard, especially those who are too often excluded from the institutions that shape their lives.

When someone says they want the Supreme Court to overturn the 14th Amendment… BELIEVE THEM.

THIS is what they’re actually talking about undoing:

The 14th Amendment (ratified July 9, 1868)
has served as the backbone of modern civil rights in the U.S. guaranteeing citizenship, equality, and justice for all people born or naturalized here.

Bottom line:

The 14th Amendment is what makes civil rights enforceable in this country.
Without it, there’s no guarantee of equal protection, due process, or even citizenship as we understand it today.

So yes when people say they want it overturned, take that seriously.
